Who are WMA’s Light Keepers?

WMA’s Light Keepers are all the women and men that hold leadership positions and volunteer in WMA. These are men and women that have committed to be the ones that conceive, maintain and help the lighthouse and all its programs run. Meet the leaders of WMA.

What is the Light Keeper Program?

The Light Keeper Program is a comprehensive leadership programs that seeks to address the needs of the leader in mind, body and soul. We are after the development of our leaders in the areas of team work, covenant, fellowship, discipleship, prayer, giving, teaching, training, community awareness, strategizing and the carrying out of projects from conception to fulfillment. At the end of the year of service and fulfillment of requirements, the leader will receive an achievement pin and certificate.

Leadership Development

We have required quarterly meetings for all our chairpersons. Volunteers are invited but not required to attend. At the leadership development meetings, we strategize, go over programs, interact and invite a speaker on a particular social issue that the Executive Board feels the leadership should know about.

Interactive Modules

We have seven 5 week modules available for leaders to come and be part of. These modules are in DVD format and taught by renowned Bible Teachers such as Joyce Meyer and Reinhardt Bonnke. The chairpersons are required to be part of one module throughout the year.

After Glow

The After Glows are times for fun and fellowship for the leaders, volunteers and Executive Board and their friends and family. Sometimes it might be at a coffee shop, at a park on a picnic, or having a chocolate creations night. Locations vary. This is purely a time of fun and relaxation.

Prayer

The leadership of WMA gathers every month for prayer for WMA, its members, supporters and leaders.

Light Keepers Online

Upon approval, each Light Keeper will receive access to the secure site within WMA’s website.
